Cook,Jr., 135 West Way for the folio ii g was read aloud into the <br /> record for informational poses; <br /> Renewal of shellfish Grant #00 —Ockway Bay <br /> Request for the ability to float oyster ewes on the site; cages will be <br /> 1 "06"x 12"vinyl or vinyl coated wire in a black or neutral color; <br /> Visibility no more than 4"above the water level including floats; cages <br /> ill be within a.45 acre area at the south end of the 3.3 acre site. <br /> Richard Cook was i attendance with his counsel Attorney Kevin K.hrane to <br /> discuss the application with the Board and interested public. <br /> Correspondence was included in the Selectmen's packet from Mr. Cook dated <br /> February 22, 2011 indicating the 1983 grant is up for renewal as of July 15, 2011. <br /> Since the oyster seeds need to be ordered in March, it was recommended the <br /> applicant meet before the Board of Selectmen. In addition, Mr. Cooly has <br /> requested to float oyster cages at this site. visibility will be no more than " <br /> above water level including floats. Cages Will be within the .45 acre area as <br /> allowed by the Army Corps of Engineers. <br /> It was noted this matter has been discussed with the Harbormaster. Mr. Ellis was <br /> noted to be satisfied with the distance from the waterways. It was also noted that <br /> an opinion has not been obtained from the Waterways Commission. <br /> The Hearing was opened to solicit comment. <br /> Peter Thomas Bass Cove Circle and Vice-Chair of the Shellfish Commission <br /> S <br /> indicated that his board voted unanimously to recommend approval..Richard <br /> York also coirnented that he has no objection. There was no other public <br /> comment. <br />
