9 <br /> Board of Selden <br /> Minutes <br /> June 612011 <br /> Gail Wilson—Suicide Prevention Coalition C Muni outreach <br /> (continued) <br /> Motion made by cele tm n Richardson to endorse the Suicide Prevention <br /> Coalition Community outreach Program in the Town of Mashpee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cabalane, <br /> VOTE Unanimous: 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Taylor,yes Selectman Richardson,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Cahaiane,yes <br /> Selectman O'Hara Yes opposed,none <br /> It was agreed the Suicide Prevention Coalition would meet with.the Board of <br /> Selman upon completion of the outreach program to further review this natter. <br /> ce ter a tom ssion—Iden Bates—Discussion of a Town Marina: <br /> , <br /> Waterways Commission Chair Ken Bates was present to review a ekaft five-year <br /> plan for the Town of Mashpee to identify tasks and funding itiatives for fixture <br /> projects. Nr. Bates indicated the plan in its present state is projected. It has not <br /> been discussed fly with the 'waterways Cossion to date. <br /> Of particular note was the discussion of a future Town Marina and the mutes <br /> benefits from this type of facility in the Town of Mashpee ranked#13 in boating <br /> in the State of Massachusetts. <br /> The Board commended Mr. Bates for developing initiatives to raise capital and to <br /> identify tasks to improve the waterways. Mr. Bates-is expected to meet before the <br /> Selectmen with a formal recommendation from the Waterways Commission. <br />
