1 <br /> Board ofSelectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 12, 201 <br /> Review and Execution of October 17,2011 Town Meetin Warrant: <br /> (continued) <br /> Article; Petition Article; To raise and appropriate or borrow the funds <br /> needed to design and construct a bike path on Old Barnstable <br /> Road,beginning at Route 151 and continuing to the Falmouth <br /> Torn line. <br /> The total estimated cost to construct the bike path is$526,000. Discussion <br /> followed with respect to other priority roads in need of a bike path. The <br /> easements would also rely Town Meeting approval. It was agreed the intent o <br /> the article is worthy. However, it was suggested that a sidewalk Progam be <br /> developed. It was noted if funding is attained for the Ma.shpee Housing project on <br /> Old Barnstable Road, a sidealk is planned for this area. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cahalane to not support the above referenced <br /> petition article. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Richardson. <br /> VOTE -1. Motion carries. <br /> Roll Call vote: <br /> Selectman Taylor,yes Selectman Richardson,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Cahln+ ,yes <br /> SelectmanO'Hara,no Opposed, 1 <br /> Agicle: Petition Article; Sale and Application of Lavin Fertilizer <br /> The Board voted at the last meeting to take no position on the above referenced <br /> petition article. <br /> - x <br />
