3 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 26, 2011 <br /> NEWBUSINESS: <br /> e uest from Town Clerk—ftuest for BallotQuestion—Provide Photo ID on <br /> Election <br /> Deborah ammi,the"ion Clerk was in attendance to request the Selectmen <br /> support a ballot question on the November 2012 election ballot that would require <br /> voters to provide a photo identification card on Election Day. Mrs. Rami also <br /> requested the Board send a letter to legislative officials in support of this <br /> endeavor. <br /> The Board of Selectmen related concern with respect to creating a hardship for <br /> non-driving poll-goers. It was noted that presently,the cost to obtain an official <br /> slate ID is$25. In response, Mrs. Dami indicated she would work with <br /> individuals who are unable to fiord the cost for the photo identification. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Richardson to approve the ballot question for the <br /> November 2012 election ballot as referenced,and remit a letter of support <br /> for this action to appiable leslatie officials. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -o* <br /> Roll fall vote: <br /> Selectman Taylor,yes Selectman Richardson,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Cahalane,yes <br /> Selectman O'Hara,yes Opposed,none <br />
