5 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> April 9, 2012 <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS: ' <br /> Public Dearing-Application of Mashpee Commons for Entertainment Lice e� <br /> April 2012 through December 2012: <br /> The Board ofSelectmen opened the Public Hearing on the application of Mashpee <br /> Commons Limited'Partnership to provide entertainment to the public from April <br /> 2012.through December 31, 2012. Entertainment will take place at 1lashpee <br /> Commons, Mashpee, MA. <br /> The Hearing notice was read aloud to conform to posting requirements. Kate <br /> Watt, Marketing Director of Ma tepee Commons, LLP was in attendance t <br /> discuss the annual,application for an Entertainment License with members of the <br /> Board of Selectmen. The list of events includes the'bight of 100 Wines, the <br /> Citizens Bank Summer Concert Series, Friday Live Music bights, the Annual <br /> kt her e t and Seaside Lemans Race. <br /> The Selectmen commented with regards to the Easter Egg Hunt at the Commons <br /> held this past weekend. It was disclosed the annual event was well publicized and <br /> as a result became overwhelming with over 500 attendees. It was noted the egg <br /> hunt was not well supervised, and the-Town has received several complaints on <br /> this matter. In response, Ms. Watt indicated that 1 lashpee Commons may not <br /> sponsor this type of entertainment in the future. It was n tel the Town Easter <br /> Egg Hunt held at the 1lashpee Library later in the day was successful and well <br /> supervised with approximately 250 attendees. <br /> Being no public comment,the Board motioned to close the Public Hearing, <br /> 1 loti n made b Selectman Cahal ne to close the Public' Hearing. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Richardson. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -0. � <br /> Roll Call vote: <br /> Selectman Taylor*,yes Selectman Richardson,yes <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Cahalane,yes <br /> SelectmanO'Hara,yes Opposed, none <br /> } <br />
