} <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Mutes-Executive Session-revised <br /> February 5, 1996 <br /> Present: Selectman Dinizio, Selectman Caffyn,Selectman Mills <br /> Executive Secretary Robert Whritenour <br /> Administrative Assistant to the Executive Secretary Joyce Mason <br /> Absent: Selectman Vaccaro, Selectman Costa <br /> Guests: Finance Committee members; Marcia ung and Juan Bacigalupi <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Selectman Dinizio at 8:55 p.m. <br /> DISCUSSIQN RELAMM TO COLLECMMB 1 F <br /> Mr.whritenour reviewed the Collective Bargaining proposal relative <br /> to the ULPE ,Local 1249 Administrator's Unit with members of the <br /> Board of Selectmen and Finance Committee. <br /> 1r+whritenour indicated that the Mashpee Personnel Administration Plan <br /> (PAP)is utilized as the base document for the agreement with amendments <br /> where necessary to fit the form of the collective bargaining agreement. <br /> It was noted that the regular work week for all unit members shall be <br /> 40 hours exclusive of lunch breaks as defined in section 5.8. <br /> No compensatory time or overtime is available for exempt employees. <br /> Non-exempt employees shall receive a choice of overtime or compensatory <br /> time at the rate of time and one-half for all hours in excess of(40)in one <br /> work week. All overtime must be approved by the Executive Secretary. <br /> It was noted that the (4)non-exempt employees are; the assistant <br /> Conservation Agent,the Data Collector,assistant Building Inspector and <br /> Outreach Coordinator. <br /> The longevity bonus} Section 6.4 and pay differential for paramedic <br /> certification, Section 6.5.2 have been deleted from the collective bargaining <br /> proposal. <br /> Selectman Mills related concerns with respect to the nonstandard part-time <br /> employee working less than 0) hours per week. She recommended the <br /> Board remain consistent with the definition as proposed. Ton-standard <br /> part-time employees working less than (20) hours per week should not be <br /> eligible for paid vacation and/or siek days. <br /> It was noted that non-standard part-time employee's working more than <br /> 999 hours per year are eligible for the payment of vacation and sick time. <br /> 1. <br />
