r <br /> LIAISON REPORTS <br /> S <br /> Selectman O'Hara.reported that there was some controversy at a recent Planning Board meeting <br /> regarding a proposed street name charge in the Sandalwood neighborhood. Ms. Mason reported <br /> that the Town had been in contact with the President of the Sandalwood Association regarding a <br /> meeting to further discuss'the issue. The Working Group will also be meeting. <br /> Selectman Richardson reported that a wellness event had recently taken place at the high school, <br /> with at least loo people in attendance. The evert was sponsored by Mashpee Cares and Project <br /> Purple and there was discussion regarding the heroin issue. <br /> Selectman Sherman reported that there would be a Mashpee After-Hours event at the Kiwanis <br /> Club tomorrow night. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1 Revocation ofConditional License- 617 Limousine Limited Partnership <br /> Ms. Mason referenced the limousine license approved conditionally, pending <br /> investigation by the Police Chief, and recommended that the Board revoke the license <br /> based on his findings. <br /> Selectman Sherman made a motion to revolve the license. Selectman Taylor seconded the <br /> motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Chairman Cahalane-yes Selectman Ri h rdson- e <br /> Selectman O'Hara-yes Selectman Taylor-yes <br /> Selectman Sherman-yes <br /> 2) Position Vacancy Request—Administrative Clerk/Recreation Department <br /> Ms, Mason reported the Administrative Clerk vacancy in the Recreation Department, due <br /> to retirement and requested the Board move forward to fill the position. <br /> Selectman Sherman made a notion to fill the position,.with regret Selectman Richardson <br /> seconded the motion. AR voted unanimously. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Chairman Cahalanelyes Selectman Richardson-yes <br /> Selectman O'Hara-yes Selectman Taylor-yes <br /> Selectman'Sherman-yes <br /> 3) Recommendations for Contract Award—Annual Paving and Catch Basin <br /> Adjustment <br /> Ms. Mason referenced the'Contract Award for the paving and cater basin contract for the <br /> remainder of the fiscal year. DPW Director Catherine Laurent recommended Lawrence <br /> Lynch Corporation, the only bidder, to receive the bid. The project is a partnership' <br /> between Mashpee and Mashpee Commons for the extension of the road, to be eligible for <br /> a grant. <br /> 2 <br />
