6 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> January 27, 2014 <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS: <br /> DPW Director—Recommendation for Private Road Conversion: (continued) <br /> Motion made by Selectman Richardson the initiate an article for the May <br /> 2014 Town Meeting to fund engineering plans for the road conversion of the <br /> John's Pond neighborhood from private to public as referenced. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: unanimous. 3-2. Motion carries. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Cahalane, no Selectman Richardson, yes <br /> Selectman Taylor, yes Selectman O'Hara, no <br /> Selectman Sherman, yes Opposed, (2) <br /> COMMUNICATIONS & CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> FYI 5 Budget: <br /> Joyce Mason, Town Manager requested guidance regarding the Transfer Station <br /> as she is in the process of preparing her budget recommendation for fiscal year <br /> 2015. Mrs. Mason recommended the Board remain as status quo as the increase <br /> in this year's budget is deemed minimal. Upon review, it was the decision of the <br /> Board of Selectmen to move forward with normal process by preparing an RFP <br /> for the operation of the Transfer Station to compare bid quotations for FYI 5. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS: <br /> Public Hearin - Megan Sue and Koshin Abdullahi d/b/a 617 Limousine Limited <br /> Partnership/New Limousine Application: <br /> The Board of Selectmen opened the Public Hearing on the application of Megan <br /> Sue and Koshin Abdullahi of 617 Limousine Limited Partnership to provide <br /> Livery Services as a business and a subcontractor service; (1) vehicle; a Chevrolet <br /> Suburban to be stored at 103 Meetinghouse Road, Mashpee, MA. <br /> Megan Sue Abdullahi was in attendance to discuss the license application with <br /> members of the Board of Selectmen. <br />
