Ms. Regan made the notion to accept the minutes as written. Ms. Dani seconded. Board voted unanimously to accept the minutes. New Business: Reorganization of Board: Ms. Dami made a motion to nominate Mr. Vaccaro s chairman; 1VI . Regan seconded the-motion. The vote was unanimous Set Election Ballot Candidatepositions: The only race that required the Registrars to draw names was for the Planning Board Race. Mr. George Petersen's name was drawn first. The race will show George Petersen first, David K ohari n second. It should be noted that both candidates are "candidates for re-election." " ITIO AL TOPICS At Ms. Dami's request, the Burd voted unanimously to add to the agenda discussion of the upcoming Charter review to the agenda. IVIS. Dami explained that the Charter has an item pg ertainin to the Town"s elections that she would lire to see changed: 3-le — Ballot Position. The current procedure requires the Registrars to draw names for the position setting. Ms. Dam' feels that candidates for re-election should be placed in the first positions and the subsequent candidates placed in alphabetical order by last name. It is costly to a set the ballot in o' er to obtain a price quote and then have to rearrange the names. 1t was much more cost effective with the prior procedure.
