MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE SPECIAL MEETING MAY 28, 2013 MINUTES Present were Scott McGee, David Bloomfield, Joan Oliver, Phyllis Sprout & Ikon Myers . I . CALL TO ORDER Chairman McGee called the meeting to order at 6 : 02 p.m. II . PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE IIT . ACCEPTANCE OF SUPERINTENDENT CONTRACT . McGee stated that the School Committee had a Lengthy meeting with counsels, Jim Toomey and Mark Gildea, in a three-hour Executive Session, for a line-by-line review of the proposed contract between Brian Hyde and the Mashpee School Committee . This meeting took place on May 22, 2013 . Mr. Bloomfield rade a motion, seconded by Mrs . Sprout, to approve the contract between Ir. Brian Hyde and the School Committee. There was no discussion. ROLL CALL NOTE: In favor.- Mr. avor.Mr. McGee, Mr. Bloomfield, Mrs . Oliver,, Mrs . Sprout & Mr. Myers Opposed: Done. IV. RECONS I DEFT CHARTER REVIEW In March, the School Committee said that, after the town eiection i it would reconsider nominations to the Charter Review COmmission . i Mrs . Sprout made a motion, seconded by Mr. Bloomfield, to reconsider. ROLL CALIF VOTE In favor.- Mr. a rMr. McGee, Mr. Bloomfield, Mrs . Oliver, Mrs . Sprout & Mr. Myers Opposed: Mone . Mr. Bloomfield made a motion, seconded by Mrs . Sprout, to nominate Scott McGee and Don Myers to serge on the Mashpee Charter Review Commission . Theme was no discussion.
