The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> SEWER COMMISSION ADMINISTRATOR DEPORT— Paul G bell <br /> 1. Mr. G bell reported on his attendance last month at a CAC meeting in Barnstable which Paul <br /> Nied wie ki attended. Mr. Niedzwiecki stated that they are subdividing the Cape into four regions, <br /> and ll ashpee is in the Upper Cape watershed as is Bourne, Falmouth, Mashpee and most of <br /> Sandwich. The piece that goes to 3 Bays is in the Mid ape area. Mr. Niedzwiecki asked that n <br /> one fife CW P's unless it is absolutely critical because they are in the planning mode now and <br /> don't want to be burdened with the review anode. They are planning meetings now with the towns, <br /> and Mr. G bell recommended that Mashpee prepare questions that we feel need to be addressed. <br /> . Falmouth Water Quality !Manager Committee. Mr. G bell reported an overwhelming vote of <br /> approval of their plans and are gong to move Bard on each of the initiatives they have started. <br /> . Waquoit Bay First Annual Cape Coastal Conference. Mr. Gobell stated that a lot of the <br /> discussion centered on climate change, but there were many ancillary topics discussed that <br /> meshed well. Mr. G bell stated that the conference was very well attended. <br /> 4. AquaGen Facilities Visit-Torn Fudala and Paul Gobell Attended. <br /> STATUS OF WATER/SEWER DISTRICT—Torn Fudala <br /> Torn Fudala stated that as Water Commissioner, he attended his first meeting of the Water District. <br /> Mr. Fudala was invited into discussion of the negotiations between the Town and the Water District <br /> by Town Counsel, and received a copy of the legislation, and made some recommendations about <br /> things that were missing in it, and then was told that somebody brought up the issue that there was <br /> a conflict of interest in that he was now Water Commissioner in terms of negotiations between the � <br /> tern and the!!Vater District. At this point, the District counsel is addressing the question to the <br /> Attorney General and is waiting for a written response as to what Mr. Fudala can or cannot do. <br /> Mr. Fudala requested that a topic be added to the meeting agenda regarding the following Article <br /> for the October 2013 Annual Town Meeting: "To see if the Town will Vote to appropriate or transfer <br /> from available funds $33,000 to the sewer Commission Part-Time Contractor Expense Account t <br /> fund the part-time Sewer Commission Administrator position, or take any other action related <br /> thereto." <br /> Joe Lyons made a motion that the topic of the above-stated Article for the October 2413 Annual <br /> Tern Meeting be added to the meeting agenda. Mark Gurnee seconded the motion. Roll Call <br /> Vote: Torn Burns, }yes; ! lark Gurnee, yes; Torn Fudala, yes; Joe Lyons, yes. The motion was <br /> unanimously approved. <br /> Joe Lyons made a motion that the above-stated Article be submitted to the Town for approval at <br /> the October 2013 Town Meeting. !!Mark Gurnee seconded the motion. The motion was <br /> unanimously approved. <br /> Tom Fudala stated that approval of a !rater/Sewer District will be a ballot question at a future <br /> Town election. <br /> i <br /> 3 <br />
