Ken <br /> Bates stated that notice of formal reorganization would be forwarded to the town's B S for <br /> confirmation. Don and Stan would review Sub Committees both from the agenda and our page on the <br /> Town Website.They would advise Iden and Al of their interests so we can establish assignments at the <br /> next meeting. <br /> Communications and Correspondence: An information letter on the Barnstable County Dredging <br /> activities was reviewed. For the new members, Iden gage an overview of these unde rta kings and <br /> explained the scope and logistics deployed to meet the objectives. Correspondence was also received <br /> from Stege Pinard-concerning results of the Water Quality Fest Program and the success achieved in the <br /> 2014 P rogrann. Appointment letters from the Torn Hall were also acknowledged for the new <br /> mere ber hip status of Stanton Healey and Don Barton. Ken outlined the various Com mittee <br /> assignments that new members could be assigned to help fulfill the goals of this group. See comments <br /> above. <br /> Committee Reports Received: <br /> Waterway Improvements and Dredging: <br /> Iden provided update that the dredging to the Popponesset Bay(1916 Channel)was completed on <br /> October 31st. He is visiting on the signed off contracts by the County. Ken also stated that he is uniting <br /> on a post dredge surrey. Some episodes of bad weather had been encountered. len noted that there <br /> was cooperation with Save Popponesset Bay(SPB)during the dredge and our efforts should help to <br /> stabilize tine spit and protect the fragil a environment of the bay. <br /> Shellfish Constable Deport: <br /> Rick York gave an extensive overview of the successful scallop and oyster propagation programs for <br /> 2014. He reported that catches have exceeded expectation this fall. He explained that algae was good <br />
