John Singleton reported that his staff has started to lock the <br /> entry gates to the cB State Park and Will's Work Road at 8-00 FSM as of July , 014 until after Labor <br /> Day, There was a lifeguard stand burned down .dune ��n by youths from Ashland, MA who cane down to <br /> party on the beach. Mr. Singleton stated that he had been experiencing increasing trash: beer Mottles, <br /> needles, in the parking let over the last two years which takes his staff two Fours to clean up each <br /> morning. Because of the increased vandalism, Mr. Singleton has started closing the gate entry to the <br /> Dark at 8:00 PM. Mr. Singleton is going to request another staff person next year to handle the work <br /> load. The Bayberry parking lot remains open 24 hours. <br /> John Singleton stated that the Dill's work Road has been improved to the point where it is passable. <br /> * <br /> Report on .dune 23, 2014 Meeting with Town Manager DPW, WBNERR & sc Estates Rep. <br /> .fieri smith reported on the dune 23rd meeting at Town Hall. There was concern about the drainage on the <br /> road making it an ice hazard in winter months. There is an issue regarding the ownership of the deed to <br /> the 10-acre state park which has delayed the improvement process. There was discussion about turning <br /> the road so it carne out on the beach road. <br /> * Bos Andrew Gottlieb Report. Andrew Gottlieb reported that he is working with Senator Wolf in a <br /> request for $500,000 to realign Will's Work Road. The request for funding, which in effect would create <br /> one entrance road that would lead to South Cape Beach State Park, Mashpee Town Beach, and callie's <br /> Beach at the end of Will's Work Road} was added as an amendment last week to the Massachusetts <br /> Senate's Environmental Bond Bill. Realigning the road would allow a single checkpoint for all of the <br /> 1 <br />
