Mr. D. Barrett <br /> seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> Approve November 2013 Residential Tonnage of 1,716.29 tons for reporting to SEMASS. <br /> Total residential and Commercial is 2,518.87 tons. <br /> Mr. Tilton made a motion to approve the tonnage for November 2013. Mr. D. Barrett <br /> seconded the motion. All voted unan im.ou l t <br /> Discussion of Future ofUCRTS <br /> Chairman Laurent reported that Representative David vieira had reached out to the Base, the <br /> towns and MA DOT to discuss regional opportunities for use of the transfer station, including a <br /> discussion about usage for road salt. Town Manager Julian Suso of Falmouth confirmed that <br /> there had been preliminary discussion about the potential use of the facility for salt. The Chair <br /> noted that the rail had previously suggested uses such as lumber or goad salt for the UCRTS, but <br /> thea had never followed up on the possibilities. The Chair indicated that the Board of Managers <br /> was very interested in considering other uses and opportunities for the facility, but had not yet <br /> identified a viable option. Mr. Suso referenced a CIC grant, with a rounds being available in the <br /> spring, to be used as a means for further study of collaborative opportunities among communities <br /> for joint use or problem solving. Mr. Jack confirmed that the grant funds could be used for <br /> studies with limited funds available for implementation. Mt.
