Mr. Brock reviewed the recommendations <br /> involving a relationship with Town Officials with the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Development Agreements <br /> Identify Sites through Pre-Screening <br /> Create a Memorandum of Understanding <br /> Discretionary Referrals <br /> Procedure to Access Technical Staff <br /> Understand Mandatory Thresholds - DRI's <br /> Joint Scoping Sessions <br /> Letter requesting Access to Town Counsel <br /> Appointment of Liaison Officer <br /> Acceleration of Local Comprehensive Plan <br /> No Single Family Home Limits <br /> Administrative <br /> With regards to Development Agreements, Selectman Vaccaro asked if <br /> it is necessary to pre-permit the Industrial Park before the Local <br /> Comprehensive Plan is complete. <br /> Mr. Carbonell indicated that sites are nominated for the pre-screening <br /> process. This would include other designated areas such as commercial <br /> sites and economic target areas in need of renewal. <br /> Mr. Whritenour indicated that the Board voted to pursue the Industrial <br /> Park for pre-permitting. This area of concern was discussed with <br /> Mr. O'Connell of the CCC as a priority noted Mr, Whritenour. <br /> With regards to Discretionary Referrals, Mr. Brock recommended to <br /> consider adopting a general policy on this matter as it involves Timing. <br /> (How late should a referral be made, When is a project right for a referral, <br /> When is it too late,How do your consult with different boards before <br /> malting a referral, etc.) <br /> *It is the consensus of the Board to support the Request for Access to <br /> Town Counsel for the purpose of legal analysis. It was noted that all <br /> town counsels will be invited to attend discussion with the CCC. <br /> Task Force Workshop: Applying for a DRI <br /> Wednesday, November 16, 1994 - Dennis Senior Center <br /> It was noted that Mr. Whritenour,Executive Secretary was appointed <br /> by the Board to serve as the central information and liaison officer for <br /> coordinating Developments of Regional Impact. <br />
