Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> February 6, 1995 <br /> Page 7. <br /> Recess: 8:50 p.m. Meeting Resumed: 9:00 p.m. <br /> F. <br /> z,s r <br /> =`Y <br /> CQUHIMCAUD.N.S AND C RRES NDENCE: <br /> Memo from the School Committee re: Medicare <br /> Reimbursement: <br /> Communication was received from Maryanne Gibbs, Chairman of <br /> the School Committee dated January 23, 1995 relative to an estimated <br /> reimbursement of$100,000 during this fiscalP <br /> ear for past special <br /> a <br /> Y P <br /> t kir education student services. <br /> The Schaal Committee has requested that this reimbursement be returned <br /> to the School budget less an monies previously authorized b th <br /> ,4}f g Y P y y e <br /> ti Finance Committee. <br /> Finance Committee Vice-C bairmaq.Marcia King indicated that the <br /> -_ reimbursement monies are laced into the Gene F ' <br /> _ p General and and will not <br /> = be certified as free cash until October. It was noted that the entire <br /> reimbursement figure has not been obtained to date. <br /> Mr. Whritenour indicated that the sum of$200,000 was laced inp free <br /> cash for emergencies. The requested reimbursement of$90,000 i <br /> too large to take from free cash indicated Mr.Whritenour. Selectman Caffyn <br /> { indicated that she will modify the memo to Senator's Kennedy,Ke <br /> Congressman Studds and Deputy Undersecretary Goodman to meet <br /> Mashpee's needs. <br /> The memo will also be submitted to Governor weld <br /> and Trudy Coy <br /> indicated Selectman Caff . The continuation of funds for <br /> Yn the clean-up <br /> process is essential. <br />
