Mr. i whrtenour recommended the Board approve the contingency. . PP ge cy plan requ=g the minimum fare structure of 50 cents regular adult and 25 cents elderly and disabled for an estimated cost of$56,734. It was noted that local assessments amount to$15,012 or 25%o of the estimated cost. If funding is available with CMAQ, the Town will contribute 10% of the estimated summer shuttle service cost. Selectman Caffyn indicated that local advertisingoffset the Town's con may contribution rate for the summer shuttle service. She recommended to schedule a public hearing to discuss the routes of the shuttle service. With the Board's approval, the shuttle service will ' . Pp begin on July 1, 195 . indicated Mr.whritenour. It was noted that ridership will be tracked during fiscal year 1995. Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to approve the contingency p � y plan for Summer Shuttle Services as proposed by the Cape Cod R p Regional Transit Authority if Congestion Mitigation Air Quality (CMAQ) funding is unavailable; based upon the scheduling of a public meeting for input relative to .routes of the summer shuttle service. Motion seconded by Selectman Costa. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0.
