Page 5 Board of Selectmen Minutes May 22, 1995 PUBLIC DI S CUS S I[N: James McGonagle,a resident of Mashpee Wakeby Pond related-concerns with regards to tournament fishing. It was noted that a recent tournament sponsored by the Military Bass Angles Club has violated rules as set forth by the Town of Mashpee and Public Access Board. Mr.Whritenour indicated that he is aware of this concern and has requested the Public Access Board to address this matter. He will update the Board at the next scheduled meeting. With regards to the containment of the plumes located at the Military Base, Joel Feigenbaum indicated that there is a definite need to remedy the situation. He urged further review of the study and noted that many citizens who are non-residents of Mashpee are working hard to beep the Mashpee plumes in the same high priority standard as the other plumes. Jessie Fermino,the job developer for the Mashpee Tribal Council requested to discuss the issuance of the right to do concessions. Item to be discussed on the agenda. NEW BUSINESS: Mash ee Chamber of Commerce re: One Day., Li uor License Communication was received from Jamie Regan dated May 9, 1995 on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce requesting a temporary Liquor License for June 4, 1995 to hold a "Taste of Mashpee"on-the grounds of Mashpee Commons. Motion made by Selectman Costa to approve the one Day Liquor License as requested by the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce on June 4, 1995. Motion seconded by Selectman Mills. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. ApQi„ menjoff Ascent Conservation- A„ggnl., Correspondence was received from the Personnel Board dated May 18, 1995 recommending that Kathleen Terrio be appointed as to the part-time position of Assistant Conservation Agent. Motion made by Selectman Costa to appoint Kathleen Terrio to the 'part-time position of Assistant Conservation Agent as recommended. Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0.
