Page 4 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> June 5, 1995 <br /> PUBLIC DIS CUS S ION: <br /> Brad Caffyn suggested to give additional consideration to the waters <br /> of the Mashpee River,Quashnet River and S antuit River as it relates <br /> to management and adequate water flow on a year round basis. <br /> Mrs.Mills indicated that letters of support can be sent to <br /> Mr.Fred Peters, Sippican Health Care Center, 15 Mill Road in <br /> Marion, 02738. <br /> Chief Przybylek introduced Albert Todino and Glenn Gillan to the <br /> Board of Selectmen. They were recently appointed as Police Officers. <br /> Mr.Fennucci was present to discuss the status of Davy's Locker with <br /> the Board. It was noted that a Public Hearing is scheduled on <br /> June 25, 1995 to discuss this matter further. <br /> Selectman Vaccaro gave thanks to all community members who participated <br /> in the Memorial Day weekend activities to commemorate Mashpee's <br /> 125th Anniversary. <br /> APPOENTMENTS AND HEARINGS <br /> Public Hearin - Annual Pow Wow. <br /> .r <br /> Selectman Vaccaro opened the Public Hearing on the application of <br /> the Mashpee Wampanoag Indian Tribal Council,Inc. for the MashpeeAl <br /> k j <br /> Annual Native American Indian Pow. OL <br /> Mr. Whritenour read aloud the notice as published. It was noted that <br /> the annual Pow Wow is scheduled to be held on July 1,2, and 3, 1995 <br /> at the .Heritage Park,Mashpee. : <br /> F . . <br /> Mr.Whritenour indicated that all necessary paperwork is in order <br /> for the Board's approval. <br /> Selectman Vaccaro opened the Public Hearin to solicit comment. <br /> P g r. <br /> Betty Nichols suggested to go ahead with the event as outlined. <br /> Being no further comment,Selectman Vaccaro closed the Public Hearing. <br />
