Q �9 125th Anniversary Fall Activities Y SEPTEMBER 10TH 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM SOUTH CAPE BEACH FESTIVAL The Leisure Service department is planning Festival Day at South Cape Beach which will include activities for all ages. The day will include a sandcastle competition, volleyball competition, face painting, tattooing, photographs, sand sculpture, fishing demonstration, " arts and crafts, music and refreshments. SUNDAY OCTOBER STH 10:00 AM-4:00 PM OPEN HOUSE The Police and Fire Department will host an open house at their complex on Route 151. The day will include a tour of the facilities, a demonstration of the vehicles, equipment and the new rope course. There will be caricature portraits by John woodruff and a police surplus auction. Refreshments SATURDAY OCTOBER 14TH 6:00PM CO TY DINNER/DANCE AT THE POPPONESSET INN Hors d'oeuvres, Dinner, presentations, surprises, dancing and fireworks Tickets $25.00 pp available at the Information Center and the Selectman's Office SATURDAY OCTOBER 2 1 ST 1:00 PM MOUNT RUSHMORE FLAG PROCESSION A nationally acclaimed flag process, hosted in Mashpee by the Cub Scouts, will be held on the Mashpee School Athletic Field. A parade of 12 peace flags will be carried across the field by various Town groups accompanied by the VFW Honor Guard. The Procession will move to the music of the 567th Air Force Band. The procession will - continue with a concert, speeches, a 21 gun salute and a raising of the spectacular 90' x 45 American flag. Everyone in the community will then be asked to participate in a - � p Town-wide photograph as the flag is lowered.
