Annual Town Meeting <br /> conference room of the Nlashpee Nllddle School. <br /> Aggroval Qf- r <br /> Rildlifef k Pr12claMgi <br /> Motion made by Selectman Mills to proclaim <br /> October S - 14, 1995 as National Wildlife Refuge Week <br /> f <br /> a Mashpee <br /> in the Town g <br /> . <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Dinizio. <br /> VOTE.* Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> It was noted that U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Director,Mollie Beattie <br /> has invited everyone to join her in observing the WEED as "a reminder and <br /> renewal of America's spirited commitment to wildlife conservation." <br /> The second week in October will be observed annually <br /> as <br /> NATIONAL <br /> LIFE REFUGE WEEK,leading up to the lOOth <br /> anniversary in the year 2003. <br /> Horseshoe Bend Wav EmerLyencv Re air Re nest: <br /> Communication was <br /> � y received from Ore Taylor,Director of Public Works <br /> dated September 14, 1995 requesting the Board approve an emergency <br /> repair to Horseshoe Bend Way. <br /> Chief of Police,William Przybylek has reviewed the resent condition <br /> . P <br /> of the road and has indicated that there is a safety concern for emergency <br /> vehicles at night. <br /> The sum of$1,000 as estimated by the Director of Public Works will <br /> provide crushed stone to improve the road condition. It was noted that <br /> the residents need to be aware that this is not perpetual care, but the signal <br /> for the residents to provide for future repairs or petition the town for <br /> road conversion. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Costa to approve the Emergency <br /> Repair to Horseshoe Bend Way as requested for a sum not <br /> to exceed, $1,000. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Dinizio. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
