Page 6 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> October 23, 1995 <br /> LD B SINESS <br /> Agreement for Execution - Enhanced 911 Services: <br /> The Board reviewed the Agreement for the operation of Public Safety <br /> Answering Point and Enhanced 911 Service between the Town of <br /> Mashpee and the Barnstable County Sheriffs Department. <br /> It was noted that the Agreement as revised has been approved to form <br /> by Counsel <br /> b T Pp <br /> . <br /> Selectman Caffyn related concerns with respect to the withdrawal of <br /> the Regional 911 System in the event the Town elects to establish its own <br /> primary Public Safety Answering Pox n t. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Costa to execute the Agreement <br /> with g <br /> Barnstable County for Enhanced 911 Services. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Mills. <br /> TE: 4-1, <br /> Selectman Caffyn in opposition. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Regulations for the Use of Town Recreational Areas: <br /> Gus Frederick and Maurice Cooper were present to the discuss the <br /> regulations proposed to govern the use of Town Recreational Areas <br /> with the Board of Selectmen. <br /> It was noted that Selectman Dinizio requested a policy for the purpose <br /> of promoting the safe,healthy and orderly use of Town recreation areas <br /> and facilities as an additional new objective for the Executive Secretary. <br /> The Chief of Police and Leisure Services Director submitted input into <br /> the process to address and alleviate future problems facing the Leisure <br /> Service staff,Police Department,Tribal Council and residents. <br /> It was noted that Town Counsel has reviewed and approved of the <br /> proposed Regulations for Use of Town Beaches and Recreation Areas <br /> to form. <br /> Discussion followed with respect to the proposed regulations. <br /> Selectman Caffyn and Selectman Mills related concerns with regards <br /> to the regulations being considered in the proposed policy. <br />
