Page 6 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> November 20, 1995 <br /> NEWMSTNESSSS <br /> Contract Ne otiations: <br /> Executive Session item,placed in open Session. <br /> The Board reviewed the proposed Agreement between the Town of <br /> Mashpee and Assistant to the Executive Secretary. <br /> Joyce Mason,Administrative Assistant waspresent to discuss the <br /> proposed agreement with the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Mr.Whritenour recommended the Board upgrade the position and <br /> amend the duties of the current position. It was noted that Mrs. Mason <br /> is a confidential employee and is exempt from collective bargaining unions. <br /> g g <br /> Selectman Vaccaro indicated that contract discussions are privileged and <br /> . Pri g <br /> will be discussed further in Executive Session. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Costa to approve the position <br /> PP <br /> upgrade of Joyce Mason from Administrative Assistant to <br /> Assistant to the Executive Secretary pg en di n Town Counsel's <br /> review and approval. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Dinizio. <br /> YQTKO 3-1. <br /> Selectman Caffyn in opposition. <br /> Selectman Caffyn related concerns with respect to the new position and <br /> job P change of description. The Personnel Board should be consulted to <br /> develop a clear job description indicatedff Selectman Caffyn.
