BOARD of LIBRARY TRUSTEES DECEMBER 12, 19 PAGE THREE V NEW BUSINESS : (Continued) A. Budget: Helene explained that she had thought of using Incentive Grant money for the new P. C. ' s . She did not feel_ that the outlook of getting money from the Town for a P. c. would be very bright, particularly .when we have money that could be used. Helene passed out to the meeting instructions for the Budget packet, and sheets which included Helen ' . FY97 budget summary .and expense ledger budget preparation. Review of the Town of Iashp e expense ledger budget preparation proceeded. Helene DeFoe suggested that the board of .l+ibrar .trustees would require an additional meeting for' Budget Review and finalization. The completed budget requests were due at Town Fall_ on Friday, January . , 1996 . Helene suggested meeting r an ar .2nd, Tuesday evening following the holiday give ive the trustees the opportunity to review the final ,-opy of the budget requests . CTP committee Meeting; -Dick Shaughnessy reported that he and Helene had attended the CTP Meeting ,rhich included dis- cussion is- cussion of nomination of officers, etc . Mr. Demoura volun- teered t6 take the minutes' of that meeting. George Baker volunteered to act as acting' chairman. No issues were re- solved. Helene explained that last year the CTP committee reviewed theP ro 'e c is and prioritized. - Some were split into mu l ti- earg 'ro ects where they were able to do short term follow-- p � in ;etc. to meet the amount of available revenue for cap- i.talro rams . That will. be reviewed over the next ix to P g eight week and can thea be presented at Town Meeting as the _ capital program. The fact that the library _has asked for the building epan- sion we automatically have to have representative. Helene thanked Dick for volunteering to act as the representative for the Board of Library -'trustees . C. Hol ida Hours: Helene discussed the fact that in view of the holiday landing on Monday this gear, she would like t have the librar r .closed on Saturday, giving- the staff at least the three-day week-end. The library ,will. be open on Friday morning, December 22 , 1995 . Dick Shaughnessyso moved. Anton seconded. All in favor. B, Discussion on Entranc Boors: Mimi Marsh reported that she has tried unsuccessfully to discuss with Ra r Martini the replacement of the library front entrance doors.
