Page <br /> of the Committee's members have their own biases, but they should <br /> all have one objective. Geography and other things should not <br /> influence their decisions. That objective of a Finance Committee <br /> member is to serve all of its taxpayers in the best manner <br /> possible. He felt that when the Finance Committee makes a decision <br /> as a Committee then no matter what the individual member might <br /> believe personally, the decision has been made. <br /> Mr. Goggin asked Mr. Gallo what he felt about Mr. Ferridayls <br /> belief? Mr. Gallo felt very strongly that people should be able to <br /> have their own opinion as long as they do not speak on behalf of <br /> the Finance Committee, Mr, Gallo stated that he may not agree with <br /> M . Bacigalupi but felt he was entitled to his own opinion. <br /> Again, Mr. Bacigalupi stated that he did not agree with the Long <br /> Range numbers and felt an override or an exclusion may be needed. <br /> Mr. Coggin stated that the Corrie voted on January 10, 1995 to <br /> make as the Finance Committee's motto "To Live within our Means" . <br /> At that meeting Ms. King also informed the Committee that she would <br /> notifying the press that an override would not be necessary. Mr. <br /> acigalupi stated that she had placed that in the newspaper without <br /> theCommittee's approval , on January 10th the Committee also <br /> approved the Long Mange Plan. <br /> Ms, King was angry because she felt that she was the liaison and <br /> has been working very hard with the School Committee and Dr, <br /> DeMoura to cone to an agreement on a number. She felt that Mr. <br /> Bacigalupi was stirring up a lot of trouble. She believed this <br /> would have a negative impact on the high school. <br /> Mr. Gallo stated again that everyone is entitled to their own <br /> opinion, Members should not be chastised forgiving theirown <br /> opinion as a private citizen. <br /> Mr. Golub stated that if Mr. Daeigalupi gets up and states his <br /> opinion, then he should also be able to back <br />
