Mr. Goggia <br /> explained that Ms. Farren could not attend a meeting on Tuesday <br /> evenings, but would be willing to meet on another night. Mr. Golub <br /> felt that she should meet with the full Finance Committee, Mr, <br /> Ferriday also said that he would be more comfortable with that. <br /> Ms. King suggested- inviting her to a Joint meeting prior to the <br /> start of the Selectmen's meeting on Monday, February 13 , 1995. The <br /> Committee agreed to invite her to meet with them at 6: 0PM. <br /> Denise Sullivan stepped down from discussion. <br /> Mr, Whritenour also suggested planning a session to discuss <br /> unfunded liabilities for benefits. Mr. Golub stated that he felt <br /> the Selectmen should not have voted on Curtis Frye's,, (retired <br /> Police Chief) accrued sick time. Mr. Golub stated that it should <br /> have gone to Town vote. <br /> Mr. Goggin asked if contracts have been discussed at 611? Mr. <br /> Whritenour stated that they have had met once and that the next <br /> step was to invite the Finance Committee to attend for start up <br /> sessions, <br /> Denise Sullivan entered the discussion again. <br /> Revisit Board of Selectmen's Budget <br /> Mr. Goggin asked about Town Insurance, and whether it was going out <br /> to bid Mr, Whritenour answered that they were staying with the <br /> Dyer Package for their discounts offered, Mr, Goggin stated that, <br /> in the best interest of the Town, it should go out to bid every few <br /> years.. Mr, Goggin asked about the medical piece of insurance, Mr. <br /> Whritenour stated that this cannot go out to bid. He stated that <br /> the. Town puts out individual components, Mashpee is part of the <br /> Cape God Municipal Health Group's program of benefits. Mr, Goggin <br /> asked if the Board of Selectmen are automatically picked up under <br /> the medical program for the Town? Mr. Whritenour answered yes, and <br /> that it is limited to appointed officials who work over 20 hours, <br /> Elected Officials also may participate. The Town share is %, <br /> The Committee then went on to review the remaining line items, but <br /> did not question, <br /> Mr. Goggin asked about funds remaining for capital items? Mr, <br /> Whritenour stated that he would like remaining funds to go to help <br /> with the cost of renovating the 'Iowa Hall, Mr. Goggin stated that <br /> he believed any excess money should roll into the capital <br /> Improvement committee and let them decide where it should go <br />
