Mas ee CommuniftTV -Peter Zawadzki,Station l lana er continues <br /> • Hired full-tine Educational Coordinator Shane Kinsman who has stepped into the AV role at.the school. <br /> Shane works at the High School in the morning how and at Mashpee TV in the afternoon. He's been <br /> doing a great job...students wog honorable mention awarded by Department ent of Transportation. Production <br /> at school definitely unproved. Since this is a partnership with the School,they support through the School <br /> budget. Peter would like to see stronger program between MTV and the school. <br /> • Definitely need improvements on technology side. Old/outdated equipment at the school. They are doing <br /> a re-inventory and are cleaning everything up. Some equipment cabling had not been properly maintained. <br /> • At beginning of the year they tried to go live with football games but cabling had not been maintained so it <br /> could not be done. Looking forward to summer to go in and do clean-up. <br /> • MTV is re-tooling and re-spacing to provide a classroom for teaching. <br /> • Teamed up with iCape Solutions and classes will be free to the public. Publicizing though Facebook and <br /> twitter. Also, W pe will be helpful in publicizing classes. <br /> • Small equipment upgrades—getting small camem. They are creating full camera kit out of an Pad. New <br /> case for new iPads. <br /> • <br /> MTV working with the Libr .r hopefully gill teach class at the Library. <br /> • Children's Museum–program will be done,in April. <br /> • Council on Aging–Nothing clone yet,but may have an opportunity to do some workshop there. <br /> • Deter said the main goal is"foot traffic". Purpose is to teach and.train people to go out and do videos. <br /> • <br /> Andrew.Eliason asked hove the public and government were going to-be includedm' the equation. Peter <br /> said if we don't get kids involved then we can't be out getting the community involved. David said they,did evening except the access wireless card.
