Both <br /> Andrew Eliason and Lolita McCray declined. <br /> Lolita McCray asked Joyce whether there is any need for MCAT Board to continue to be active in Griew of <br /> Mashpee TV Board. Joyce responded"yes"that MCAT has responsibility for overseeing the 1%the Town <br /> receives from the Comcast license. MCAT will oversee capital requests submitted to thein by Town <br /> Manager; and will oversee technical issues with Town broadcasts. <br /> Andrew asked whether Town receives-any accounting report from Mashpee TV. Joyce said the Board of <br /> Selectmen does have a copy of audit done on Mashpee TV. <br /> 0 Joyce said the Mashpee TV Board will mise money to keep Mashpee TV running and will handle staffing. <br /> Joyce advised that Mashpee TV construction came in under budget so they had the funds to put in the <br /> whole new editing room—it is a great studio. <br /> Andrew commented he was surprised that they didn't make a viewing window into the studio from the <br /> control room. <br /> Andrew Eliason commented that when the Director is hired,then MCAT will invite the new Mashpee TV Director <br /> to attend an MCAT meeting. <br /> Arthur Joia addressed the meeting and said he has met with the members of the Mashpee TV Board. The Board <br /> wants to get students involved with Mashpee shpee T V. They are opening doors by getting students to participate and <br /> learn how to use the equipment. Having students involved in Mashpee TV will be exciting for the students. <br /> Andrew Eliason said it is a wonderful idea to have an interface between Mashpee TV and the students and to make <br /> students aware that the Mashpee TV studio is there and what is available. <br /> Vontrol Room...No problems other than the limited number of people available.to run the.Control Room. Joyce <br /> Mason said a young man was training with Array Davies and he is interested in working the Control Room. <br /> SCAT Board e-o ani ation...Andrew Eliason announced that Peter Cohen formally resigned as member of <br /> MCAT,,effective September .
