1' [Agenda topic 3] Proposed Boating Changes Peter's Pond, Sandwich Discussion: Changes in boating laws at Peter's Pond, Sandwich, led by Mark Ga.lkski,were sent to the voter's on November 18th. Proposals, written about in the November I", Mashpee Enterprise included limiting horsepower to 150 and PVCs to 1000 cc., restricting speeds to 3 5mph.,prohibiting the towing of more than one water skier or grater tube at a time, limiting waterskiing to 10 AM to 7PM,and requiring a boat to accompany a swimmer more than 150 feet from shore. The results of the vote are unknown at this time. Member are concerned that if more restrictions occur in Sandwich,more faster larger boats mould choose to launch in Mashpee and Wakeby. Members plan to look for voting results regarding this issue and bring 1t to the Town's attention. Conclusions: Boating changes are being considered 'in Sandwich which could increase boating problems in Mashpee lakes. t .:. ::... ...:..;.. George has served over 10 years on this committee. Barbara called Joyce Mason, Town Manager, to learn the proper procedure to fill the committee vacancy and let the BOS know of the resignation. The committee will write George a letter thanking him for his years of service. Conclusions: George BinghamIII has submitted his resignation to the committee. Agenda topic j Meeting Dates- , _ .}. Discussion: The Town's calendar and request for meeting dates has been received. Barbara will request monthly meeting dates for the committee for the Fourth Thursdays in 2014, with the exception of February and December. Conclusions: Barbara will request meeting rooms for 2014.
