V <br /> ashpee Planning Board <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> August 1, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Waquoit Meeting Room, Bash pee Town Hall <br /> Present: Chairman Marr Waygan, Dennis Balzarini, David oohan'an, Joe Cummings, David <br /> Weeden, Robert(Rob)Hansen (Alt.) <br /> Also: Evan Lehrer-Town Planner, Charles Bowleg-Consulting Engineer <br /> CALL TO oRDIE <br /> The Town of Mashpee Planning Board meeting was opened with a quorum in the Waquoit <br /> Meeting Room at Mashp ee Town Hall by the Chair, at 7:03 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, <br /> The Chair stated that the meeting was being vi deographed and recorded, The Chair welcomed <br /> attendees and asked that anyone addressing the Board do so using the microphone, stating their <br /> name and their business. All comments should be addressed through the Chair and a <br /> determination will be made whether comments would be heard by the Board} or taken under <br /> advisement. The Planni hg Board encourages public participation. The Pledge of allegiance was <br /> recited~ <br /> APPROVAL of NUNUT ----June 20, 2018,June 28, 2018 & Jady 18,201 <br /> The Chair requested that consideration of the July 18 minutes be tabled, but she had no <br /> recommended changes for June 20 and June 28. <br /> MOTION,: Mr. Ralzarini made a motion to accept the minutes of June 28til and June 20th <br /> as written, lir. Kooha rian seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> PUBLIC ARI - <br /> 7:10 p,m, Applicant-ft outh orth leash pee Properties,ILC <br /> proper * Assessor's Map 6 , Bloch. 89 <br /> Request: Beefing modification of Special Permit to construct an <br /> additional <br /> twenty-two units on a 9}3 acre parcel located north of Sampsons Mill Road. 'Total unit <br /> remains within the 287 units currently authorized tinder the Special Permit. Plan proposes <br /> new cul-de-sac with a central community center and will he tied into existing wastewater <br /> treatment plant. <br /> The appointed time having am'ved,the Chair opened the public hearing and read for the record <br /> the public hearing notice. .Attorney for Southport Mashpee Properties, Jack McElhinney and <br /> Baxter&Nye Project Engineer,Mathew Eddy, were present to discuss the proposal to build a <br /> new neighborhood consisting of 22 to nhornes located in l l buildings, north of Sampsons Trill <br /> Road. Mr. McElhinney noted that the homes would be similar to what was built for"The <br /> Village,,1.1 a neighborhood that had been well received by customers. The new development <br /> would be located along the third hole of the bead -hole golf course. The site had been created <br /> with a 3 4 acre land s nap, .All units would be tied into the existing treatment plant, which offered <br /> adequate capacity. The addition of the 22 units would bring the total unit count.to 273 on the <br />
