Chairman, Jonathan D. Furbush, Board Members William A. Blaisdell, Scott <br /> Ronald Bonvie, Goldstein, Norman J. Gould and Associate Members, Brad Pittsley and <br /> Sharon Sangeleer were present. Building Commissioner, Michael Mendoza was also <br /> present. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> Chairman Furbush opened the meeting at 6:00 pm and announced that the hearings were <br /> being televised live on Mashpee TV. He asked the audience if they wanted to discuss <br /> anything that was not on the Agenda. There were no comments from the audience. <br /> NEW HEARINGS <br /> Mr. Furbush announced sitting on this hearing are.the four regular Board Members and <br /> Associate Sharon Sangeleer. <br /> 133 Shields Avenue: Owner,Kevin M. David, and David Family Realty Trust requests a <br /> Written Finding under §174-17 and §174-31 (Land Space Requirements) to raze and <br /> replace a single-family residence on property located in an R-5 Zoning District, Map 30 <br /> Parcels 22 &23,Mashpee, MA. <br /> Mr. Kevin David represented himself for the raze and replace request. He said when he <br /> spoke with the Building Inspector and reviewed the site plan,it was discussed that he would <br /> have to apply to the Board of Appeals requesting a certificate of non-applicability. Mr. <br /> David provided all the documentation that was requested in the application. He said that <br /> his neighborhood does not have R-5 requirement of 80,000 sq. ft.; and that most properties <br /> consist of 10,000 sq.ft.His pre-existing non-conforming house is on one lot,and his family <br /> has owned the vacant lot next to his since 1981. He would like to raze the existing house <br /> and put up one house.on both lots. The current house is on a lot approximately 8,900 sq. ft. <br /> Mr. Borivie asked if both lots were in the same name. <br /> Mr. David said that one lot is in his name and the other lot is in the family Trust, and have <br /> not been merged yet. <br /> 4 <br />
