Paul Andrews made a motion that the Board of Assessors adjourn the Public session and move into Executive session, to return to Public Session, in order to comply with the MGS Chapter 59, Section 60, to discuss issues, the contents of which are not public record. Sheldon Holzer seconded the rutin. ROLL CALL: Paul Andrews, yes; Sheldon Holzer, ]yes. The motion was approved. The Public session was adjourned at 6:08 PM. The Board returned to Public session at 8:20 PNI. Paul Andrews made a motion that the Board of Assessors recommend to the Board of Selectmen the acceptance of the -year contract with Paul Kapins and Associates. Sheldon Holzer seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. Paul Andrews made a motion that the Board of Assessors recommend to the Board of Selectmen the approval of the real estate abatement valuation proposal for 2015, 2018, 2017* TCB Mashpee pillage, LP, 1 Iarpanag Drive, as listed on Report# 1921 . Sheldon Holzer seconded the motion. The motion was uhanimously approved. Paul Andrews made a motion t grant the abatement applications listed on report# E04292014GI starting with the name Ronald Hill, 11 Sewall Drive, and ending with the naive Mario Valentino, 8 Pocknomett street. Sheldon Holzer seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. .Pa l,,Andrews made a motion to deny the Veterans Exemption Application, Clause 22, for Irma -Gershkowitz, 21 Pine Hill Blvd., because she did not meet the required qualifications. Sheldon Holzer seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. Director's Report Town Meeting: Jason Streeb l reminded the Board of the Town Meeting scheduled for Monday, May 5, 2014, and urged all Board members to attend. special Town Meeting Article 3 is of particular interest to the BOA. y: Revaluation Upd e. Jason Streebel reported that Grace Sandell, DOR, had visited the office twice to do her quality review. Jason streebel stated that he has been finishing up the sales * reviews in the field and in the office. Cyclical Listing Statistics. Jason streebel has been working on getting cyclical listings completed. Letter of Interest Selectmen: Reminder to Paul Andrews: his terra of office is up for renewal as of June 30, 2014, and a letter of interest from Paul Andrews is due to Board of Selectmen in order to continue to serve on the Board of Assessors. Pending Aliplications. Jason str ebel reported that there are 17 abatement applications still pending, all for Deer Crossing. If by May 53 2014, no required information is received from Deer Crossing, the applications will be deemed denied. NEXT MEETING —To Be Determined. ADJOURNMENT As there was no further business,.
