MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> OCTOBER 24, 2018 <br /> Jess said that her clients are proposing to use the property as its original intent as a horse <br /> farm. The components would be the stabling of horses, renting stables, and riding lessons. <br /> They are extremely interested in potentially partnering with Cape Abilities and other <br /> organizations to provide therapeutic riding. The issues that might be addressed by the <br /> Board is what will happen with the abutters, traffic, and manure. <br /> Jonathan is concerned about the neighbors,and doesn't want to see a lot of vehicles causing <br /> traffic jams especially during the summer months. He is looking for a specific use plan and <br /> a parking plan. He wants to see the long term goals of a business plan, and would need a <br /> revised plot plan. <br /> Jess mentioned that Glen, Health Agent is very much in favor of the property being used <br /> as a horse farm,and his job is to make sure they are cared for.There are stable requirements <br /> in terms of square footage. <br /> Mike suggested to the Board that the applicants come back and meet again with another <br /> informal and bring in a business plan. The Board agreed. <br /> Approve 2019 Year Public Hearing Date Schedule <br /> Sharon moved to approve the 2019 Public Hearings schedule. Brad seconded. All were in <br /> favor. <br /> Approve October 10, 2018 Meeting Minutes <br /> Sharon moved to approve the meeting minutes. Brad seconded. All were in favor. <br /> Brad made a motion to adjourn.
