2 <br /> Co iunity Preservation Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> December 10, 2013 <br /> Present: Richard Halpern, TornO'Hara, Diane Rommelrneyer, Ed Larkin, Frank Lord, <br /> Evelyn Buschenfeldt,Mary Waygan,Ralph Shaw,Burt Kaplan <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Halpern at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Ton Hall, Waquoit fleeting loom <br /> MfNUTES <br /> Tue da november 12 1 <br /> Motion made by Mr. Larkin to approve the minutes of Tu sday,November <br /> mber <br /> 12,2013 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Kaplan. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous, -o. <br /> RoU Call vote: <br /> Mr.Halpern,yes Mr. O'Hara,yes <br /> Ms. Rommelmeyer,yes Mr.Larkin,yes <br /> Mr.Lord,yes Mrs. Buschenfeldt,yes <br /> Ms. Way an yes Mr. Shaw,yes i <br /> Mr. Kaplan,yes opposed, none <br /> APPOINTMENTS &HEARINGS: <br /> Public Comment: Ione at this time. <br /> AP NTS &HEARINGS: <br /> Review& Deliberate on Projects Proposed for the Mgy 2014 Town Meet : <br /> CPC Member Diane Rommelrneyer,the former Town Accountant indicated the <br /> budget of the Community Preservation Committee has been thoroughly reviewed <br /> with Dawn Thayer,the Town Accountant. 1t was disclosed the CPC is in a good <br /> financial position, and currently,the Fund Balance of the Connunity <br /> Preservation Committee Fund has more than enough revenue to appropriate in <br /> full,the projects proposed for funding at the May 2014 Town 1 rleeting. <br /> Ms. Rom melmeyer created the CPC Committee for their conservative approach <br /> to CPA funding in the past years. In reviewing the debt obligation of the CPC <br /> through June of 2026, Ms. Rommelmeyer indicated she is confident that all debt <br /> obligations will be adequately reserved to meet the funding requirements if the <br /> CPC were to cease in 2020. <br />
