The project involved upgrading an existing septic <br /> system. The Agent xrfrcd the commission that-this is a straigtfrwardproject and there will be no impact t <br /> the wetland resource Areas. The agent recommended a negative determination.. <br /> No comments from the public. <br /> Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried for a legative.determination. <br /> 6:10 William Ferner and Diana Lccccse Barbary Circle) To construct a ; x 11; fancily room addition <br /> with an adjoining ; x 8 deck; install 150 timber retaining wall along the top of the coastal bank; remove <br /> five trees; and to create and maintain in perpetuity a vista window. (NI <br /> f <br /> Resource Areas; Coastal Bank, LSCSF, BVW, Salt harsh <br /> Material Subnmitted; Landscape Mitigation Pian (Vacarro Environmental) <br /> Engineered plan of home addition (Falmouth Engineering) <br /> Jack vacarro (Vacarro Environmental Consulting) represented the homeowners. Mr. Vaccaro described the <br /> various aspects of the project. The addition will occupy a portion ofthe existing deck and the deck is proposed <br /> to extend out closer to the top ofthe coastal bark. The homeowners are also requesting to take clown some <br /> hazardous trees. One large cedar tree is very close to the hone while other trees present a hazard to the existing <br /> stairway to the dock and 2 other trees are dead and have fallen over at the bottom ofthe coastal bank. Mr. <br /> Vacarro also described the request to maintain an existing vista corridor in perpetuity. Finally, Mr. vacarr <br /> presented his landscape mitigation plan that proposed cleaning up an area of landscape dumping near the top of <br /> the coastal bank and planting native vegetation in its place. Commissioner Fitzsimmons asked for some <br /> clarification regarding the deck expansion and the Agent said it was going to occupy a previouslyidisturbcd <br /> portion ofthe yard. Commissioner Gurnee asked about the request to remove the trees and Mr. V e .rr <br /> explained the reasons for each tree removal and that mitigation was being proposed to compensate for the loss <br /> of the trees. The Agent recommended a close and issue. <br /> No public comment" <br /> Motion n made, seconded and unanimously carried to Close and Issue an Order of Conditions <br /> Motion made.
