Nora McCormack, Jack Jordan <br /> .Chairman Irving Goldberg opened the meeting at 8:35 a.m. <br /> APPROVAL of NUENUTES—August 1 , 2013 <br /> Motion: Jack Dorsey moved to accept the minutes of August 1 , 2013, seconded by <br /> Jean Noussee. vote unanimous <br /> No Public Comments <br /> COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE <br /> Irving Goldberg commented on the flu shots this year and Director Waterman stated this <br /> cones under the Board of Health. <br /> I ACTOR'S REPORT <br /> Director Lynne Waterman distributed her report. She stated that she and the activity <br /> coordinator met with staff from the overlook Hone Health Agency to plan a program. on <br /> staying healthy during the upcoming season_ They also net with the tap dancing <br /> instructor to plan the fall schedule. Lynne met with the Travel Coordinator to discuss <br /> future programming and also met with the new photography instructor to revitalize this <br /> activity. <br /> Lynne spoke about the van which had a small repair issue which was resolved. She said <br /> the beeper signal is not working and the CCTA will be trying to resolve the issue. <br /> Lynne also stated she has updated the van policies and procedures and has given them out <br /> to the drivers and they will also be given out to the riders. The vary drivers also have <br /> photo M's. <br /> Director Waterman updated the council members regarding concerns she had with the <br /> building. The gas meter was replaced by the gas company. She has reviewed the opening <br /> and closing procedures with the staff and the annual clean out was a success. Lynne also <br /> thanked JP's for making some building repairs such as the recessed lights in the ladies <br /> bathroom and multi-purpose room and the re-piping of the condensation drain. <br />
