1 <br /> VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR REPORT <br /> Director Waternnan distr'buted the volunteer Assistant Report. Lynne reviewed this <br /> report.- She noted Judy Lenge was on a reduced summer schedule. Judy's plans for the <br /> upcoming year is to review volunteer list, volunteer training in the fall and spring, <br /> holiday cards sent early December, driver update in January, National volunteer week in <br /> April and volunteer recognition in May. <br /> Motion: Jean Noussee moved to accept the volunteer Coordinator Report, <br /> seconded by Virginia McIntyre. vote unanimous. <br /> ACTIVIW COORDINATOR T <br /> Director Waterman distributed the Activity Coordinator highlighting the Fruits of <br /> Summer program which was held on August 6. She said the seniors had a great time <br /> eating the fresh fruit, biscuits and whipped cream while the seniors listened to Frank <br /> Sinatra music. <br /> Lynne noted that the Summer Reading Program,was a great success. The program was <br /> presented to 26 seniors by Kathy Mahoney, Director of the Mashpee Public Library. The <br /> program focused on e-readers, Kindles, books, and IPads. Kathy answered many <br /> questions and is planning to offer this program again since there are 20 seniors on the <br /> waiting list.. <br /> Director Waterman also spoke about the success of the Social Dining Around, at Cooke's <br /> Seafood, the poetry class, cooking with Chef Peggy- Lynne also noted the success of the <br /> Geek Girl's,, Adrienne a.uman's Intro to Facebook program. There were 40 participants. <br /> There is a gaiting list for the next class. The Photography roup intends to continue the <br /> photography club as a year round group and the tap dancing class ended. A new class <br /> started on August 29 and Will continue thru October. <br /> Motion: Jean Noussee moved to accept the Activity Coordinator Report, seconded <br /> by Jack Dorsey. vote Inauiouse <br /> Motion: Jack Dorsey moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Jean Noussee. <br /> Vote unamW mous.
