She reviewed her report <br /> stating she had six home visits and had numerous client contacts by telephone and visits <br /> m the office. Darlene noted some issues she dealt with the seniors needing help such a <br /> medical,transportation,affordable housing. She also stated the Brown Bag program <br /> served thirty one seniors this month and had six volunteers separating and bagging food. <br /> She tanked Jean and Umny and the other volunteers for their help. Darlene also is <br /> working with residents to apply for fuel assistance and makes referrals for homecare, <br /> medical insurance,housing,food and daily activates to seniors who are struggling. <br /> Darlene Perkins meets monthly with volunteers. One volunteer is still worldng with one <br /> of our seniors on his biography. We have one new volunteer driver and 10 Ia.shpee <br /> residents who turned 90 plus and received flowers delivered by a volunteer. She i <br /> matching up new friendly volunteers with seniors who are isolated and need a friend to <br /> visit them regularly. There we're 10 volunteer rides this month. She reviewed the <br /> meetings she attended: Eider Services Board of Directors,Cape Outreach.Coorffinato& <br /> monthly meeting and she also met vn the public nurse. <br />
