Old Business Chairman ung Goldberg noted he inquired about the appointment process and stated the members no longer have to apply for reappointment to this committee but need to sign the book at the Clerk's office at the end of each tern. He urged the members to cheek their expiration dates. The Director listed their teras: Jack Dorsey- June 30, 2014 Marljo Dorney-June 30, 2014 w Jack Jordan- June 3 05 2014 Mary Gaffney - June 3 0, 2015 Ginny McIntyre-June 30, 2015 Jean Nousee -June 30, 2015 w Irving Goldberg - June 30, 2016 Norah McCormack- June 301, 2016 Vacancy-June 30, 2016 Chairman Goldberg also noted the committee will need to reorganise after July 1 and elect the officers for the upcoming year. New Business Selectman Wayne Taylor commented on the Volunteer Luncheon and what a great time it was. He also stated he would like to have the ton send a thank you to Judy Lenge for her services and stated it is important to recognize our volunteers. Director Waterman mentioned world Elder Abuse Day on June 15, 2014. Elder Services of Cape Cod are asking people to wear purple on that day. The Director also noted she attended the Aging and Disability Conference sponsored by the Barnstable County Health and Human Services Department. It was a fabulous conference with a lot of great workshops. Kathy Bailey, Director of Yarmouth Senior Services, was the main speaker.and spoke about having the world Health organization 'designate Yarmouth as an Age Friendly Community. Lynne spoke about an article in the Mass Municipal Bulletin regarding senior health statistics and metrics. She Will make copies of the article for next month's meeting.
