Gasi rs point was that the current salary level for the Town Clerk has been <br /> consistent with the handling of the salary as outlined in the Town Charter. <br /> IVIS. Dami stated again that she wants to ensure that her successor starts at Step I and finishes at <br /> Step 10. Ms. Dami stated that there are a number of inequities in salary schedules across the <br /> board; she is trying to deal specifically with the position of Town Clerk. <br /> Theresa Cook summarized the request by Ms. Dami: Deb is asking that her salary beginning on <br /> 7101114 be increased t $66,795, which is a 5.3% increase over 2014. Ms. Cook recommended <br /> that Ms. Dami leave this year as is, and start to negotiate right after the May 2014 Town Meeting. <br /> Oskar Klenert made the observation that since Ms. Dame is elected by the Town of Mashpee <br /> residents, it would seem appropriate for her to go to the Mashpee residents to request a salary <br /> increase. <br /> Joyce Mason recommended that the Town conduct a position analysis review of all salaries across <br /> the board in September 2014. Any needed changes recommended as a result of the review would <br /> be proppsed in an article for the October 2014 Town Meeting warrant. <br /> Theresa Cook made a motion that the Finance Commiftee release the hold on the recommendation <br /> to approve the Town Clerk/Ele tions budget line item 10 under General Go vemment Expense <br /> Category. Charles Gasior seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved by a Grote <br /> of - {George Schmidt absent). <br /> Theresa Cook made a motion that the Finance Committee approve the Towyn Manager's <br /> recommended Town Clerk budget line iters 10 under Government Expense Category, writh the <br /> caveat that the line item will be reviewed in the future. Charles Gash seconded the motion. The <br /> motion was approved by a Grote of - (George Schmidt absent). <br /> Theresa Cooly made a motion that the total appropriation for the FY 2015 budget of$52,557,075.00 <br /> be recommended for approval by the Finance Committee.
