Christopher Avis seconded the motion. The motion was approved (5—o), <br /> George Schmidt abstained, Oskar Flenert absent. <br /> NEIN BUSINESS <br /> • Transfer Requests– gone. <br /> • Bos Liaison Report -Theresa Cook. <br /> Theresa Cook reported for Bos Liaison Mike Richardson hardson in his absence. Town Meeting is on <br /> scheduled for Monday, May ; Mary Bradbury, the newly appointed Director of Recreation,reation, is <br /> doing an upcoming stint on Mashpee TV under"Something about ll ashpee". Police Chief Rodney <br /> Collins will be interviewed tomorrow for a spot on "Something about M shpee". The Library office <br /> manager, Janet Trask: has retired, and her replacement will be forthcoming. " lashpee Plays <br /> Together": on May 2, 2014 the Harlem Wizards will play at the I I shpee High school. <br /> Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for children, available on line and at the schools. Proceeds will go <br /> to the Coombs Playground $60,000 fundraising effort. <br /> • Finance Committee Liaison Reports <br /> * School Committee: Theresa Cook reported that ar new assistant superintendent has been <br /> appointed. <br /> * .Library: Theresa Cooly reported that the library Board of Trustees expressed their appreciation <br /> t the Finance Committee for supporting their budget requests. <br /> * Street Lighting: Christopher Arris reported that the new LED lights are being in'stalled in and all <br /> around ll a tepee. The new lights will require much fess energy and will have a much longer life. <br />
