Nichols <br /> Attendees, Members: Donald MacDonald, Barbara Nichols <br /> Guests: <br /> The minutes of the September 25, 2018 meeting were accepted as written after a motion by Don <br /> MacDonald and second by Barbara Nichols <br /> Agenda topics <br /> [Agenda topic 1] Lake level/River outflow <br /> Discussion: Barbara took the lake levels on October I". and 14". The levels were 55.4 and 55.5 feet <br /> above sea level, with 13.5 and 15.5 inches of water flowing over the board closest to the lake. There <br /> were 11 and 13 inches of water in the stream by the stairs. Measurements were emailed to Drew <br /> McManus in Conservation. <br /> Barbara measured 9.1 inches of rain in her rain gauge for the past month.. The large amount of <br /> precipitation, mostly from the remnants of two hurricanes, has the lake .3 foot higher than usual for mid---- <br /> October. The high levels now could lead to very high lake levels by spring. <br /> Poison ivy continues to grow in along the path to the cage. <br /> The lake is .3 foot higher than usual for this time of year. <br /> [Agenda topic 21 Harbormaster News <br /> Discussion: Barbara emailed Al Turner as to whether ramp repairs had been done by the State or a local <br /> boating class had been formed. There was no reply by meeting time. <br /> Barbara also emailed Dave Sampson, Sandwich Selectman, regarding whether Sandwich might help with <br /> patrols next summer. Dave replied that Sandwich could probably help with Harbormaster patrols next <br /> summer. <br /> Conclusions: There was no reply from the Harbormaster. Sandwich may help with patrols in 2019. <br />
