" <br /> Substitute in its place, "We believe that the permits granted <br /> the town -for-,repeated construction of the primAry dune sy tern, <br /> raises the issue as to whether such process-. should be ..examined <br /> by the permit-granting. agencies of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts . <br /> Morris reiterated that he felt the report was an excellent one, <br /> if that simple change were made <br /> Winnie explained , when she had written 'the report , and she dis- <br /> cussed the repairs to the Town ' s Parking lot , she was fully <br /> aware that there were many agencies tht ' have an interest in <br /> ghat goes on down there, and this certainly was not directed <br /> at Mr . Taylor a Winnie further explained that she knows what <br /> she saw. There was serious erosion to that parking lot . <br /> Winnie felt. that Bruce McHenry would bear her ou-t on that ob- <br /> servation. <br /> Bill Martiros qu sioned why they- were discussing the Town Beach. <br /> M. Kir seer explained , at the last meeting , there had been comments <br /> made by several members that technically , the Town Beach -ways not <br /> within the purview of the advisory committee, our committee , <br /> which consists of a voting membership of 11 members , 7 of whom <br /> are representatives of the 'Town of Mashpee, make recommendations <br /> to the Town on those facts and situations which are in the best <br /> interests of the Town of Mashpee. The Town Beach is the central <br /> part of the June 1989 agreement . It is the central part of the <br /> supplemental beach agreement th,at was drawn about ten years ago * <br /> We have total urisdic.tio.n in dealing with it . <br /> Bruce answered BIO-11 Dartiros '. . question: "The reason they had <br /> gone down from the parking lot dear to the other end,, was to <br /> .look at the culverts and how they were washing .4p . While we <br /> walked down .there, we discussed, the culverts and how -they were <br /> eroding. We talked about the access at the West encse We tai-ked <br /> about interpretive signs and how they would be effective, both. <br /> t the west and at the east . - <br />
