Attorney David Lawler, represented the owners of RCA Electrical who were present. Also
present was Dan Ojala with Down Cape Engineering. The Attorney supplied a site plan,
and a purchase and sale agreement that is pending with the owner of the property. The lot
is part of a subdivision, and the proposal is to build two separate industrial buildings; a
main office and business building, and a smaller storage building. RCA specializes in
generators and other electrical equipment. The project was approved by Plan Review, and
Will be presenting to Design Review for a minor change to the signage. The business
standards are met-in keeping with the bylaw, and will not be detrimental to the
neighborhood for the particular use.
Dan Ojala, with Down Cape Engineering explained that he met with the Design Review
committee regarding the parking. He said that he is very careful with keeping the entire
front yard setbacks. The site plan shows that the parking is located on the side of the
building.
Chairman Furbush questioned why there are two buildings on one lot. He said he spoke to
the Building Commissioner, and was told it is allowed on a commercial property. He had
concerns if in the future the owners decided to lease the building, what would happen to
