Also present was Building Commissioner, Michael Mendoza.
The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the
provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §6 and the Town of Mashpee
Zoning By-laws.
Ms. Jane Simpson, the homeowner represented herself for the proposed project.
She is requesting permission to add a family room, office space, and renovate an existing
porch for a three season room. The plot plan depicted a 5 ft. porch in the front that will also
be added that will have stairs. The sheds were removed.
Mr. Mendoza said that the property conforms on the rear and side setbacks as he
mentioned in his comments. The issue is, if the proposal is making this structure more non-
conforming.
Sharon read the Inspection Department, Conservation, and Board of Health
comments into the record. Mr. Furbush read the Board of Health comments into the record
regarding the sono tubes, and the six-foot opening that was addressed to the applicant.
There were no more comments from the Board or the audience.
1
