MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS DECISION FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT Servulo and Celeste Vasconcelos 41 Polaris Drive (Map 98 Parcel 16-0) Mashpee, MA 02649 SP-2018-49 Sharon read the Board of Health, and Inspection Department comments into the record. Mr. Blaisdell read the comments from the Town Planner into the record. Mr. Furbush read the Conservation Comments into the record. There were no comments from the audience. In view of the foregoing, the Board determined the Petitioner met the criteria for a Special Permit. Upon motion duly made and seconded at the Public Hearings on Wednesday,November 14,2018,the Zoning Board of Appeals voted unanimously to issue a Special Permit to Owners, Servulo and Celeste Vasconcelos of 41 Polaris Drive for an accessory apartment with the following conditions; I. The Board has determined that the applicant meets all the conditions of a Special Permit under Mass General Law 40A Section 9. 2. Conditioned upon all Town Department comments read into the record. 5. Referencing a reduction in a first floor bedroom to allow for the bedroom in the accessory apartment located in the basement. In order to obtain this reduction, the applicant must comply and seek all necessary permits to construct a minimum 6 ft. wide cased opening. 2
