12 Community Preservation Committee Minutes November 15, 2018 Deliberations on May 2019 Project Proposals: It was agreed the CPC would take action on projects proposed for the May 2019 Special Town Meeting at their December meeting. Projects to date include; 9 Quashnet Road - $161,900: Funding encumbered: Conservation Land Restoration, Upper Quashnet River: $320,000 Housing Assistance Program II: $330,000 (3 years) Home Purchase Program: $275,000 Garner Bogs/Upper Childs River Restoration Project: $240,510 Mashpee Community Garden Reconstruction: $44,996 Mashpee War Monument: $174,154 (construction phase) TBD Transfer of Funds to Affordable Housing Trust: $300,000 Property Acquisition for Affordable Housing: $125,000 Mashpee Middle/High School Running Track Reconstruction: TBD Attaquin Park Proposed Basketball Court& Site Improvements: $123,500 Preserving Our Past: Digitization of the Mashpee Enterprise Newspaper: $50,350 Discussion followed with regards to the November 1, 2018 deadline for projects to be considered for the May 2019 Special Town Meeting. To allow for possible late submissions, the CPC took the following action; Motion made by Mr. Harsch to accept new applications to be considered for the May 2019 Special Town Meeting until Friday,November 30, 2018. Motion seconded by Mr. Pizzo. VOTE: 6-1. Motion carries.
