Lucy Burton rade a motion that the Board of Health approve the variance request for 463 old Barnstable <br /> Road for the Bridges at Mashpee with the condition that revised plans with the grease tram are received and <br /> that the drainage plans are forwarded to Glen Harrington. Also, the Cape Cod Commission Wastewater <br /> System Operations, Management and Compliance Agreement is to be signed by the Chair, Kalliope Egloff, <br /> along with the Cape cod Commission for the project. Burton Kaplan seconded the motion. The motion was <br /> unanimously approved. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1■ Sign Expense Warrants. The Board members signed the expense warrants. <br /> 2. Review/Approve BOH Public session Minutes: January 8, 2014, February 6, 2014, and <br /> February 27, 2014. <br /> Burton Kaplan made a motion that the Board of Health approve the Public Session Minutes of January 8, 2014, <br /> as amended. Luer Burton seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> . Request uest for 2014 Retail Food License: Edible Arrangements 12 steeple street). <br /> Luer Burton commented than the paperwork,, the floor plan, and the certification appear to be in order. <br /> Luer Burton made a motion that the Board of Health approve the 2014 Food Establishment permit for Edible <br /> Arrangements pending a final inspection by a Board of Health agent. Falliope Egloff seconded the motion. The <br /> 'motion was unanimously approved. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. 600 Gallons per Day Regulation: Draft Amendment. <br /> Glen Harrington remarked that he has given his changes on the 600 gallon per day draft amendment <br /> regulation to Town counsel. Tern Counsel is gaiting for the Board of Health to finalize the revision and then <br /> have the changes forwarded to therm. <br /> Lucy Burton made a motion that the Burd of Health approve the revision to the Board of Health Regulation to <br /> protect grater quality in the Toon of Mashpee for all properties. Burton Kaplan seconded the motion. The <br /> motion was unanimously approved. <br /> 2. 87 Lighthouse Lane. <br /> Glen Harrington commented that he contacted Kendall Ayers of the Barnstable County Septic Loan Program, <br /> and Mr. Ayers believed that the Barnstable county Septic Loan Program may not be issuing the Fivers the <br /> loam to repair the septic system at 87 Lighthouse Lane. <br /> Mr. Harrington stated that the-Board of Health has three options at their disposal: <br /> 1. Condemn the dwelling. <br /> 2. Issue a lean from the % Titre V interest funds to repair the septic system and receive repayment at the <br /> sale of the property. <br /> 3. Issue an order to keep the system pumped to avoid a nuisance. <br /> Lucy Burton stated that she does not have a comfort level with option #3 because it is not proactive enough to <br /> place loose requirements to pump a failed system. The Burd previously discussed that condemning the house <br /> was also not an option. The Toga of Mashpee has the ability to issue a loan to repair the septic system. A lien <br /> is placed on the property whether the Tern of Mashpee or Barnstable County pays for the repair of the septic <br /> system. The Burd of Health and the Mashpee Town Manager are required to approve the loam to r pair the <br /> 3 <br />
