Elinor Gle ner seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> • "Thanks for Giving" Award <br /> Discussion followed regarding the selection of the a ardees. It was decided that George Esker, <br /> retired Fire Chief, and the Boys and Girls Club should be selected as the two aw rd es for this year. <br /> The date for the Thanks for Giving Award was set for Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at I I AM, <br /> I lar hp e Town Hall. The next two meetings for the committee were set for Dec. 12, 2013 and .fan. <br /> 16, 2014. Discussion followed regarding a " Thanks for Giving33plaque for display at Town Hall to b <br /> designed, with all awardees listed from the first year of the award. Gail Wilson will get a price quote <br /> for such a plaque. <br /> NEIN BUSINESS <br /> • FY 2015 Human Services Budget Review <br /> Gail Wilson stated that the bottom line budget amount for the Hunan Services contracts for 2014 i <br /> $26,075. Ms. Wilson stated that St. Vincent de Paul receives no funding from towns other than <br /> 11ahp . They are not connected to the church in any way, only in that they are housed at the <br /> church_ 80% of their services are provided to lush pee residents. St. Vincent de Paul has <br /> requested $2700, the same as last year. <br /> After discussion, Lynne Waterman made a motion that Human Services Committee transfer $800 <br /> from the Community Health Center budget to the St. Vincent de Paul budget, thereby Increasing <br />
