Joe told Chief Cooper that the Department Managers that have <br /> responded to the Personnel Board's request for input have helped improve the <br /> docent. <br /> Chief Cooper feels that the Personnel Board should have support services to hey <br /> department managers with employees having performance or personal problems. <br /> Chief Cooper told the Board he would provide therm with a copy of the Police <br /> Department's Code of Ethics document. <br /> Meeting with Jim Long, Council on Aging Director <br /> Mr. Long made some word changes in the Action Plan draft which helped darify <br /> some points. <br /> Joe asked Mr. Long if there was any information he needed when he was hired that <br /> i he didn't receive. He tale the Board he would like to have been able to fanuharize <br /> himself with resources available to him as a new employee. He also asked if here is <br /> Personnel Handbook given to new employees. He had not received one. Marilyn <br /> will arrange to give him a Handbook. Joe suggested that all Managers be provided <br /> with a viand Book. <br /> Mr. Long asked the Personnel Board to assist hien with the interviews for,the Client <br /> Volunteer Recruitmentp eciali t position and will forward the resumes of the final <br /> eight candidates he selects to them by 3:0o'clock p.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, February <br /> 14. The interviews will be scheduled for February 27th. <br /> Clerk/Bookkeeper Position <br /> Marlyn told the Board members that a date needed to be set to inter4ew applicants <br /> for the Cleric/Bookkeeper position. <br /> 5 <br />
